● How it works
One page in. One clear prompt out.
Mdify does not call an AI model or open a new tab. It prepares the source material so you can take it to the AI tool you prefer.
Choose the source scope
Select Article for the main reading experience, Page for all visible page context, or Selection after highlighting the part you want to use. This choice happens in the popup before Mdify reads the page.
Generate a local prompt
After you acknowledge the page-access notice and choose Generate Prompt, Mdify injects a local extractor into the active tab. It converts the chosen content to Markdown and adds the source title and URL.
Set the task and copy when ready
Pick a use case and response format. Mdify adds a task that asks the AI to rely on the source material, then lets you review and copy the final plain-text prompt.
CSS Cascade Layers: a practical guide
Layers give you a deliberate order for styling concerns, before selectors enter the picture.
# Source Title: CSS Cascade Layers ## Explain this page State the main idea, key details, and important limitations.
The page stays in your browser until you choose to copy it.
What happens after Copy to Clipboard?
Nothing automatic. Mdify does not paste into an AI service, open a provider website, or send data to a backend. You choose what to do with the copied prompt.
